The forecast called for a HUGE snowstorm the morning of our Holiday Craft Club Party which made Ms Hagen very nervous! However, students, parents, volunteers, faculty, and staff from TechBoston Academy wouldn’t dare miss the annual party and were ready to party at 9am!
Over 30 crafters attended the event and rotated their way through 4 different crafting stations. At each station a volunteer demoed two projects and crafters were able to put their own spin on each festive piece. Angel ornaments, fabric christmas trees, wooden trees, magic wands, gingerbread people, holiday cards and blinged out necklaces were made. Everyone enjoyed breakfast and hot chocolate throughout the party, participants won raffle prizes and a photo booth churned out pictures all morning long to festive holiday playlist! Everyone left with fistfulls of candy and a handcrafted gift.
In the end the snowfall only left a few flurries on the ground . . . but Cris’ flight was canceled! She took the train back to NYC.
